Get your whole body into it, and loosen up your method of painting by tackling two large canvases, one with a warm up, the other with the subject of your choice. You’ll learn how to get your ideas down quickly and accurately in a large format, and how to develop a more painterly style. Throughout the class we’ll discuss mark making, colour choices, design and more. Stretch your body and your creative abilities in this fun, supportive class.

Supplies: Set of acrylic paints, palette, paint brushes (I recommend 1″ flat, 2″ flat, 1.5″ flat and a few smaller brushes) 2 large canvases (at least 18×24 up to 40×40 or anything in between size-wise), Isopropyl alcohol, roll of paper towel, sketch/note book, fine, permanent black marker, a ruler, water colour crayons, 2 plastic binder sleeves, reference photos of things you want to paint, any other mark making tools you like (stencils, collage) (optional – hairdryer)
